Growing up in a family that spent weekends on the water, I can't imagine a life without boating. I had the experience of boating in a great variety of conditions, primarily in the Northwest: water sports on the lakes, crossing the Straits of Juan De Fuca with huge tide changes, strong winds, and rollers from the Pacific; exploring and fishing in Canadian, Alaskan, and Florida's coastal waters. These were family affairs and fun times. We were also testing new models or ideas for Livingston Boat Company, Reinell, Bayliner, Wellcraft, and Regal. We have incorporated the ideas and experiences of insatiable users into the structure, design, and quality that we want in a boat. Our company was started in 1958 based on a philosophy of quality and 'doing things right' and the reputation we earned continues today. My father Dave works with me daily and is probably the most accomplished boat designer in the world. Creator of thousands of models for various manufacturers, he can boast that more people have owned a boat that he built than any other designer in the world. We concentrate on one model at a time from ideation through in-house design, testing, and manufacturing. Our sales effort is lead by Jeff Messmer who has an impressive history in sales and customer service. In our shop, boats are put together by some of the most experienced boatbuilders in the Northwest. With an average of 15+ years in the business, our staff works hard to ensure that when you're in one of our boats, you'll have fun on the water.

Since its introduction, the Ranger R21-EC has earned a loyal following among enthusiasts who enjoy cruising at its classic best. And today it’s even better, with a boatload of improvements from greater interior volume and higher speed, to more responsive handling and convenient storage spaces. Owners of this popular vessel have always measured fuel use in pints per hour, not gallons. With a refined hull design, the Ranger R21–EC delivers significantly higher speeds and even better economy, bringing more cruise destinations within easy reach. The cabin design has room inside for pilot and companion seats, head, galley cabinet and a large v-berth great comfort to make trips all the more worthwhile. Inspired by a traditional Bristol Bay trawler design, the Ranger R21–EC will never go out of style, ensuring both lasting appeal and maximum resale value. Real cruising is as much about the journey as the destination…and the Ranger R25 is all about both. Designed to provide maximum comfort and versatility in an easy-to-own, easy-to-operate, trailerable mini-yacht, the R25 offers a full 8-½-foot beam for roomy on-deck areas and large interior spaces. Private compartments allow sleeping accommodations for up to five. There’s an enclosed head with shower, sink and marine toilet, a helm with full instrumentation and an optional navigation package, a galley with sink, stove and DC refrigerator. Large opening cabin windows and overhead opening skylight hatches help brighten and ventilate the interior and offer a panoramic view all around.
The roomy self-bailing cockpit is ideal for fishing or outdoor relaxation; a transom door leads to the full swim platform, and there’s room atop the deck house for stowing anything from crab pots to kayaks. The standard Yanmar diesel inboard delivers exceptional fuel economy, even at planing speeds (2 miles per gal.). The bow and stern thrusters come standard and make docking a pleasure. Available options allow customizing the Ranger R25 for comfortable year-round cruising and effortless operation.
